Terminus, not terminated!

August was full of big changes and I apologize, dear readers, if I have ever given you the impression that East of Heart might be taking a hike. What has been was just the beginning and I will be rolling out a portfolio website at the main site in the next few months as well. The geographical scale of the site’s coverage might be a little different for the next while but depth will continue to increase.

I write terminus because I am now in Stockholm. Two weeks ago, I began my master’s program in “Globalization, Environment and Social Change”. This reinsertion into academia comes filled with happy feelings of familiarity and renewed ambition, even though I am also very much looking to redefine my approach to my studies this time around. It is time to really become this human geographer I aspire to be.
